Allstar Infrastructure was engaged to relocate sewer and water mains as part of the Loganlea Station Relocation project. This included delivering civil and mechanical works along Valencia Street and Station Road, requiring close coordination with TMR, Logan City Council Operations, and subcontractors across multiple trades.
SCOPE OF WORK:

Construction of over 4km of gravity sewer diameter nominal (DN150) with maintenance holes

Installation of water mains – DN200, DN150, and DN50

Supply of all plant, labour, equipment, temporary works, and materials

Assistance with bypass equipment installation

Integration with TMR’s road upgrade program
CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS:

Working within a school zone during school terms – Careful scheduling to minimise disruptions

Adjacent to Queensland Rail Station with high commuter traffic – Traffic and pedestrian management strategies in place

Heavy vehicle and pedestrian congestion during peak hours – Coordination with transport authorities to ensure safety

Complex above-ground and below-ground infrastructure – Detailed planning and execution to avoid conflicts

Higher-than-standard health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) expectations – Implemented rigorous compliance measures
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:

Mobilised to site within four weeks to meet high-priority project requirements

Scheduled critical work for completion during the Christmas school break to minimise disruption

Maintained strong coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
