Allstar Infrastructure supported Duratec Australia and successfully delivered essential sewer system upgrades at Camp Growl and Samuel Hill Ponds In Shoalwater Bay. The project modernised wastewater infrastructure, improved environmental resilience, and ensured long-term operational efficiency.

SCOPE OF WORK:

Sewer Infrastructure Upgrades

Replacement of sewer trunk mains and branch connections.
Installation of new access chambers for improved maintenance.
Addition of a flow meter in sewer access chamber 7 for monitoring.

Structural and Civil Works

Removal and replacement of retaining walls, bollards, fencing, and concrete pads.
Roadway restoration following sewer infrastructure works.
Vegetation clearance to facilitate construction access.

CHALLENGES AND ACHIEVEMENTS:

Aging infrastructure requiring careful handling
- Staged construction with temporary flow redirection maintained system functionality.
Environmental and terrain constraints
- Used selective clearance methods to minimise impact while ensuring accessibility.
Traffic management for road crossings
- Implemented coordinated work schedules and temporary access routes.
